Creative Explorers is a weekly art class for kids who love to make, imagine and try new things. Throughout the school year, students explore a wide range of materials and techniques—including drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking and sculptural work—often combining different mediums rather than working with just one at a time.
Projects balance experimentation with completion. Some unfold over multiple weeks to build confidence and depth, while others are finished in a single class for the joy of trying something new. Students are encouraged to develop their own ideas while receiving clear, thoughtful instruction and individual encouragement along the way.
Creative Explorers is designed as an ongoing school-year studio program. The year is planned across Fall, Winter and Spring, with fresh projects and creative experiences throughout. Most students continue through the school year, building skills, confidence and familiarity in the studio over time.
New students are welcome to join at any time when space is available—there’s no need to wait for the beginning of a new season. Projects are planned so students joining partway through the year can jump in comfortably and quickly become part of the studio.
No previous art experience is needed—just curiosity, creativity and a willingness to make a bit of a mess.

Registration, Studio Fees & Attendance
Registration is $35 and covers your child’s first class. If you can register online, there is currently space available in the class. After you register, we’ll contact you to confirm the best date to begin and provide any details you need before the first class. If, after attending the first class, you feel the program is not the right fit, we are happy to offer a full refund.
After your child begins, studio fees are billed automatically at the beginning of each month at $35 per scheduled class. The monthly amount varies depending on the number of classes that month.
Your child’s space remains reserved as long as they continue in the program. Families may withdraw at any time with one month’s notice. Refunds are not provided for missed classes, as space and materials are reserved for each child.
Children should wear clothes that can get messy.
